Very nice, typically Bavarian inn in beautiful surroundings, where you can go on great hikes. Very cozy guest rooms as well as a large beer garden and sun terrace. The service - indescribable. Without exception, very amiable and extremely attentive ladies who always make your stay a pleasant one. The same applies of course to the hosts. Very good cuisine with a wide range of dishes. For years I have been able to spend relaxing vacation days in the "Rote Wand".

Great hotel, delicious food and great sauna!

We stayed at the Gasthaus Hotel Rote Wand in Geitau. Got a very good coffee and a very good homemade cake. The service staff were very courteous. We can only recommend the inn. 2 former bus drivers from Chiemgau. 👍❤️🍰😊

Very quaintly furnished parlor. Food was delicious. Price / performance ratio completely ok. Well, a little more on the plate and it would have been a 5+. Great view. Service very nice. If you're looking for a Bavarian parlor / inn, you've come to the right place!

We have been here for the third time this year. It is impossible to put into words what we were able to experience and enjoy here! The environment (you can start hiking directly from the hotel, Schliersee, Tegernsee, Spitzingsee these are nearby), the food, homemade cakes and gateaux (price-performance ratio and high quality), the service (friendly and attentive) and the hosts ( well organized, in a good mood and you are always well advised), the rooms with a view of the Rote Wand / Wendelstein / nature, the beautiful beer garden with seats under the terrace (heat radiators)! Just great! Thank you

Thanks to the entire Rote Wand team. It was wonderful to be able to celebrate our wedding with you. It was an all-round carefree package. Starting with the good service, the overnight stay, the planning, the beer garden, the premises, the delicious food, the good wines, to the music and the Prositos. Very satisfied! - Hotel room reservation was very easy (by phone / email) - Our room in the main building is old-fashioned (which we knew beforehand), but very clean! - very friendly staff - great, cozy beer garden (best to reserve in advance for the evening) - insanely good food - Dogs are welcome - Hygiene measures are implemented well (except for the breakfast buffet they should be improved - there is not enough space there) - great hiking routes nearby All in all we had a wonderful vacation! :-)

Inn with a large selection of Bavarian dishes. Swabian pan is always recommended.

Can just be recommended. Very warm waiters and hosts. Nice garden, very good cakes. Always come back gladly.

Lovely hotel with great rooms. Sauna was fantastic after a days hiking in the mountains. Food was typical Bavarian fayre and well made. Staff very friendly with great atmosphere. Breakfast was also typical Bavarian and plentiful with good coffee. Highly recommended for the price.

We stayed here for dinner during our winter vacation. Sufficient parking spaces in front of the hotel, nice, attentive service. Pleasant, regional atmosphere. In direct comparison to other taverns in the Fischbachau / Bayrischzell region and the surrounding area, unfortunately, one point deduction, since meat dishes for Bavarian standards serve rather thin slices.

Very good food and a pleasant atmosphere in a wonderfully shady beer garden. The service was very friendly and quick. A really nice restaurant for a refreshment or for the sumptuous after a successful mountain tour. PS: The roast venison is heavenly.
